‘Enough is enough!’ Libs enraged with Wasserman Schultz; petition to oust DNC chair goes VIRAL

Party members are now officially calling for Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s head on a platter, and the petition is going off-the-charts viral.

Sponsored by the progressive group RootsAction.org, the four-day-old petition has attracted more than 24,000 signatures, with a stated goal of 25,000.

It alleges that Wasserman Schultz, who is also a Florida congresswoman, is using her position as party chieftain to get her personal favorite candidate nominated as the party’s standard-bearer — former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

The petition, titled “Remove Debbie Wasserman Schultz as DNC Chair,” reads:

In addition to her recent attempt to deny the Bernie Sanders campaign access to its own voter files, Wasserman Schultz has tried in other ways to minimize competition for her candidate, Hillary Clinton. She has done this by scheduling very few primary debates, and scheduling them at times of low TV viewing.

In Congress, she has served as a pro-militarist and corporatist tool of the high bidders. Among recent disgraceful acts was her vote to enable racial discrimination in car buying.

Enough is enough.

“The head of one of the two big political parties in the United States is trying to manipulate the presidential election process by limiting direct debate and tilting the national party apparatus in favor of one candidate. This is unacceptable,” RootsAction.org cofounder Norman Solomon said in a statement, according to The Washington Times.

Complaints were first aired at the DNC summer meeting in Minneapolis in August, by former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley, who called the measly four-debate schedule, all hosted by friendly networks, a “rigged-process.”

In contrast, the Republicans have scheduled 11 debates, hosted by networks perceived as being both liberal and conservative.

O’Malley’s remark earned him a death glare from Wasserman Schultz, who was the next person to speak at that event.

It didn’t take long for the news to hit social media. CBS News’ John Dickerson sent a tweet out that soon got noticed.

One person suggested a replacement:
