GOP congressman pledges to impeach Hillary on day one

By Rachel Stoltzfoos DC NEWS

Republican Alabama Rep. Mo Brooks pledged to impeach Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton on day one if she is elected the next president of the United States because of the lives she put at risk by using a private serve as secretary of state.

“It’s not about emails,” Brooks told radio host Matt Murphy in an interview Friday, referring to “email scandal” as a nice “catchy” phrase that is useful to the media but misses the point.

“It’s about national security and how many lives she put at risk by violating all rules of law that are designed to protect America’s top secret and classified information from falling into the hands of our geopolitical foes, who then might use that information to result in the deaths of Americans.”

“She would be a unique president if she is elected by the public next November,” he added. “Because the day she’s sworn in is the day that she’s subject to impeachment, because she has committed high crimes and misdemeanors.”
