Turns out, Hillary might have been lying about whether her emails were really destroyed.
The private server used by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s emails was not electronically “wiped” and many of the emails that she claimed were personal and deleted may be recoverable, according to a Washington Post report.
The Denver-based Platte River Networks, which assumed control of the server in 2013, said it had “no knowledge of the server being wiped,” according to The Washington Post.
Clinton and her campaign staff have repeatedly said that she gave the State Department paper copies of all her official, work-related emails — but only after deleting approximately 31,000 emails she and her lawyers deemed “personal.”
The question from the beginning, however, has been whether the Democratic presidential front-runner’s emails were “deleted” or “wiped.”
When information is “deleted” from a computer, the disk space that the file occupied is available for use. That information may be retrieved until that section of the disk is overwritten with new data.
However, if a file is “wiped,” it is overwritten with random characters multiple times and cannot ever be retrieved.
“Platte River has no knowledge of the server being wiped,” a company spokesman told The Washington Post. “All the information we have is that the server wasn’t wiped.”
While secretary of state, Clinton kept the email server at her residence in Chappaqua, N.Y., and it was maintained by a Clinton State Department staff member.

@PhilipRucker Not only is she a corrupt liar who endangered nat’l security, she’s not even competent at covering up her crimes.
