On Monday’s edition of Fox News Channel’s “Special Report,” anchor Bret Baier aired a compilation of clips depicting President Barack Obama attributing the the Sept. 11 Benghazi terrorist attack to a YouTube video while avoiding the word “terrorism.”
The White House has had to change its narrative since the State Department whistleblower testimony last week, which made it clear that the administration knew from the start that Benghazi was purely an act of terror.
The president claimed at Monday’s joint press conference with the British prime minister that “There’s no ‘there’ there,” that he had always called it to be a terrorist attack. Really?
Just in case there’s still any doubt, the left-leaning Washington Post’s FactChecker gave Obama’s claim he called Benghazi an “act of terrorism” four Pinocchios.
When everything you say has been captured on video, you should choose your words very carefully.
