Authorities Thursday located the suspected shooter in the Brown incident, dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to Fox News.
Brown University in Rhode Island was placed under lockdown Saturday night after a mass shooting left two people dead and eight others injured, as authorities searched for the suspect. Fox News anchor Kellyanne Conway relayed the update on air, saying the network received confirmation that investigators found the suspect inside a storage unit.

Officials identified the man as Claudio Manuel Nueves Valente, 48. His last known address was in Miami. Law enforcement believes he died by suicide, ending the manhunt tied to the shooting. Police are investigating whether the fatal shooting this week of a Massachusetts Institute of Technology professor in Brookline is connected to the Brown University shooting.
Authorities released photos earlier this week showing a person of interest walking through a neighborhood near the campus, along with security camera images of an individual passing through the area. Officials identified the latest person of interest four days after previously naming another individual as a person of interest in the case.
Boston 25 News investigative reporter Ted Daniel said that a law enforcement source told him the Brown University shooting suspect is not a U.S. citizen but a legal permanent resident.
