‘They’re sick!’ Ilhan Omar snaps over Republicans investigating marriage to her own brother

Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minnesota, is upset with Republicans after it was implied that her relationship with her brother would be investigated.

President Donald Trump stirred up the Muslim lawmaker during a speech in Mount Pocono, Pennsylvania, when he said that “she married her brother.” Social media ran with this allegation, which has circulated for many years, and now border czar Tom Homan signalled that it is being looked into.

“Homan said last week that records and files related to Omar’s potential immigration fraud were being pulled and looked at after President Donald Trump revived the years-old scandal amid an ongoing debate over the Somali Medicaid fraud scandal taking place in Omar’s state of Minnesota,” Fox News reported on Monday. “While Homan suggested that fraud likely took place, he also signaled that the crime’s statute of limitations could present a problem when it comes to prosecuting Omar for any potential violations.”

Omar was asked about this while walking through Congress to catch an elevator:

“Any response to what [Homan] is saying? And the public?” a Fox News Digital reporter asked the lawmaker.

“I have no response because I don’t know what they’ll be investigating,” she responded.

“So you don’t think they would find anything?” the reporter grilled.

“Absolutely not,” Omar spat.

“Why do you think they keep bringing this up?” the reporter pressed further.

“Because they’re sick!” she yelled, stepping into the elevator.

I have never, not once, heard her outright deny the claim. Because she can’t. After everything we have found out about her and her “people” it isn’t much of a stretch to believe she did indeed marry her brother and commit immigration fraud.
