Departing Republican Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene fired back at President Donald Trump Monday by pointing to what she called her “America First” credentials.
In a Truth Social post, Trump accused Greene of betraying the MAGA movement. He said personal resentment drove her to shift her views. The president also dismissed her ideas as fundamentally unserious. In response, Greene posted a photo of political donations from the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) data showing $0.00 next to her name and more than $230 million tied to Trump.
“I AM AMERICA FIRST.
Thank you for your attention to this matter,” Greene wrote.

Since 2020, pro-Israel interest groups have spent more than $230 million benefiting Trump, according to Track AIPAC. For Greene, there is no public, credible record showing that she received direct donations from AIPAC; however, her campaigns have raised millions largely through individual donors and ideological political action committees, including conservative grassroots and MAGA-aligned PACs that back hardline Republican candidates.
Trump unloaded on Greene in a lengthy Truth Social statement, branding the Georgia Republican a “traitor,” saying she abandoned the MAGA movement, and mocking her recent television appearance on “60 Minutes.” Trump said Greene flipped her views abruptly.
In her appearance on “60 Minutes,” Greene said she received a pipe bomb threat at her home and multiple death threats against her son after Trump publicly called her a “traitor.” Greene made the claim while responding to questions from CBS News correspondent Lesley Stahl about her decision to leave Congress.
