Megyn Kelly goes nuclear on Abby Phillip for letting left-wing podcaster call Stephen Miller ‘Nazi Jew’

Daily Caller News Foundation

SiriusXM host Megyn Kelly rebuked CNN host Abby Phillip on “The Megyn Kelly Show” Monday for allowing left-wing podcaster Jennifer Welch to label White House deputy chief of staff for policy Stephen Miller a “Nazi Jew.”

Welch commented on her “I’ve Had It” podcast in October when Phillip was a guest, with the CNN host offering no pushback and merely saying she “can’t speak to what Stephen Miller’s motivations are.” Kelly said on her show that Phillip should have stopped Welch and told her to focus on policy disagreements rather than use such language. (RELATED: Scott Jennings Presses Democrat To Name Illegal Order Trump Issued)

“You’re such an asshole! I’m sorry, but Abby Phillip is a fucking asshole! She let her call him a Nazi Jew and just said, ‘I’m sorry, but I can’t speak to what his motivations are.’ What a cowardly dodge, just to try to maintain some semblance of objectivity,” Kelly said. “The only proper response to that is, ‘Come on, hold it. Hold it. We can criticize his immigration policy all day long if you want. Don’t call him a Nazi Jew. That’s disgusting.’”

Conservative podcaster and Miller’s wife, Katie Miller, called out Phillip on Friday for letting Welch call her husband a Nazi and white nationalist. Welch had also called Miller “a white supremacist” during the October episode with Phillip.

“You host people on your show all the time who call my husband and myself a Nazi,” Miller told Phillip during a debate about Daily Caller News Foundation co-founder Tucker Carlson interviewing white nationalist Nick Fuentes.

Phillip claimed Carlson interviewing Fuentes was “different” than Welch appearing on her show before Miller cut in.

“Excuse me, you have Jennifer Welch on your show very often, and you’ve never pushed back as she has called … my husband a white nationalist,” Miller noted.

“Nick Fuentes can espouse an opinion on Tucker Carlson’s show, and he didn’t push back, the same way you didn’t push back when someone called someone in my family a Nazi,” she added. “It’s not different, Abby.”

The Millers were forced to move from their home in Arlington, Virginia, after harassment, including written messages like “Stephen Miller is destroying democracy,” “no white nationalism,” and “trans rights are human rights” on public sidewalks near their residence.

Phillip also acknowledged on “The Breakfast Club” in October that her network leans left, placing its political bent somewhere between Fox News and MSNBC.

“We’re probably center-left,” Phillip said. “And I think that has a lot to do with our audience.”
