It would appear that President Donald Trump’s threats of legal action against the BBC have rattled CNN.
As BizPac Review previously reported, the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) was put on notice by the president’s legal team over a documentary that they claim includes “false, defamatory, disparaging, and inflammatory statements” regarding his January 6, 2021, speech. The company was warned to either retract the offending parts or face a billion-dollar lawsuit from the president.
Now, even CNN is so “petrified” of the litigious president that they are utilizing a legal disclaimer in their coverage of Jeffrey Epstein.
Watch:
WOW! CNN is so PETRIFIED of a lawsuit that they are now fully exonerating President Trump of any wrongdoing RE: Epstein
“We wanna be clear. Trump didn’t receive or send any messages…he has not been accused of any wrongdoing with Epstein or Maxwell.” pic.twitter.com/66jDA8rxNa

“We wanna be clear, the president, Trump, did not receive or send any of the messages, which largely predated his time as president. He has not been accused of any criminal wrongdoing with Epstein or Maxwell.”
While it’s quite refreshing to hear a little bit of truth in a CNN report on the president, the fact that it appears to come from the potential threat of a lawsuit rather than the desire to be an impartial reporter is quite a sad state of affairs.

CNN is so cooked.

CNN doesn’t want to battle anymore libelous lawsuits with President Trump— Maddie Adams (@MaddieAdams75) November 14, 2025
It’s just another Dem hoax and @CNN doesn’t want to get sued into oblivion.

SUE them anyway. They spew lies & hatred. They have already done the damage.

If you gotta say all that, then you knew it was all hoopla but still went along with it.
Why even publish such a story if you knew you would have your anchor backtracking?
Damage is already done, I think that is usually the intention.

Ahhh now this is interesting
I wonder how many news outlets might be running a little bit scared after the BBC scandal and subsequent lawsuit
Yay and good job DJT! Just what they need. A little incentive to tell the truth.
