President Donald Trump gave Fox News’s Laura Ingraham a tour of the freshly redesigned Oval Office, and addressed rumors about the decorations he’s chosen.
There is very little the left won’t do in their efforts to mock, belittle, undermine and otherwise insult Trump, including dismissing the newly redecorated White House. The president has added a number of updates and changes to the White House to bring it more in line with his personal style, including adding gilded detailing to the Oval Office. The gold decorations are gaudy to some, who compare them to a nearly $60 decorative item from Home Depot, but he told Ingraham that is not the case.

“You know one thing with gold? You can’t imitate gold. There’s no paint that imitates gold,” the president said proudly.
“So these aren’t, like, from Home Depot or something?” Ingraham snarked.
“No, this is not Home Depot stuff. This is not Home Depot,” Trump replied.
“In the Oval Office with President Trump and can confirm that it is REAL gold!” Ingraham confirmed in the caption of her Facebook post.
In between negotiating peace deals overseas and bringing inflation and wasteful government spending under control in the United States, Trump has been spending time redecorating the White House with 24-karat gold. This includes the installation of things like medallions and trinkets, which have been seen in photos and videos from events like foreign dignitary visits.
X users reacted to the video, and the reactions were mixed:

I love Trump but the gold is too much. It’s randomly placed on the walls lmao

I think it looks great.
But people will hate it because they don’t like color and they live in cookie cutter homes that look like subways and sterile operating rooms.

I just think even if I was President I would not feel comfortable working in a room like that. Its so over the top.
Also, Id take down the portrait of FDR.
