‘Healthcare for the people’: Trump proposes RADICAL alternative to Obamacare

President Donald Trump is addressing the Democrats’ Obamacare subsidy hangup in a very direct message to Senate Republicans.

As the Democrats insist on keeping the government closed over Obamacare extensions, Trump took to Truth Social on Saturday morning to urge the sending of “Hundreds of Billions of Dollars” to the American people rather than insurance companies.

Look:

“I am recommending to Senate Republicans that the Hundreds of Billions of Dollars currently being sent to money sucking Insurance Companies in order to save the bad Healthcare provided by ObamaCare, BE SENT DIRECTLY TO THE PEOPLE SO THAT THEY CAN PURCHASE THEIR OWN, MUCH BETTER, HEALTHCARE, and have money left over. In other words, take from the BIG, BAD Insurance Companies, give it to the people, and terminate, per Dollar spent, the worst Healthcare anywhere in the World, ObamaCare. Unrelated, we must still terminate the Filibuster!” the president wrote.

Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) responded on X to say, “Totally agree, @POTUS! I’m writing the bill right now. We must stop taxpayer money from going to insurance companies and instead give it directly to Americans in HSA-style accounts and let them buy the health care they want. This will increase competition & drive down costs.”

All of which led to a conversation on X where people voiced what they would like changed about the American healthcare system:

Same thing needs to be done with the Department of Education budget.

Shut it down, put that money in the hands of parents, and let THEM decide how to educate their kids—whether through homeschooling or school choice.

Can’t we also remove the HSA restrictions so that independent contractors can utilize them instead of buying insurance? Having to buy a high deductible plan just to use an HSA is extremely expensive and restrictive.
