Democratic social media influencer Harry Sisson complained to former CNN host Don Lemon on Monday after President Donald Trump posted an artificial intelligence video targeting him at a “No Kings” protest.
The video the president posted on Truth Social Saturday consisted of Trump wearing a crown and flying a fighter jet over the protest, appearing to dump feces on demonstrators, including Sisson. Sisson said on “The Don Lemon Show” that the video was repulsive and supposedly signified Trump’s desire to assault individuals who protest against him.
WATCH:
“I think this is actually bigger than me. I know that this video was attacking me, but there were also millions of Americans who were also displayed in that video, also getting attacked by the president of the United States,” Sisson told Lemon. “So he’s attacking me in a petty, gross, disgusting way. But I think the more concerning story here is that I think this is his genuine feelings toward peaceful protest — that if he could, he would attack, in some way, shape, or form, the people who dissent.”
“So I don’t think that this is just about me or, like, the gross attack,” he continued. “I think this is a broader, more concerning story surrounding the Trump administration.”
“No Kings” protests took place throughout the U.S. on Saturday. Organizers claimed that around 7 million anti-Trump protesters demonstrated to “reject authoritarianism” and declared that America does not belong to “kings.”
However, some demonstrators failed to clearly explain why they were protesting against Trump.
Moreover, others called for violence and wished death upon Trump and his administration’s officials. A woman at a protest in Portland, Maine, said she wanted Trump dead, while another in Seattle, Washington, told a reporter that he wanted to kill White House deputy chief of staff for policy Stephen Miller.
The first set of “No Kings” protests occurred in June, with some of them turning violent.
