Hunter Biden’s former psychiatrist Keith Ablow said on “Pod Force One” Wednesday that he believes his former patient may have abandoned laptops to dispose of his past life.
In addition to the extensively reported laptop that Biden left at a Delaware computer store in 2019, he also abandoned one the same year at Ablow’s office in Massachusetts that federal agents seized, CBS News reported. Ablow suggested on the podcast that it is a typical psychological phenomenon for a person to get rid of content that no longer aligns with their self-perception.

“I don’t think you have to be a psychiatrist to say if somebody’s leaving behind information of that kind — laptops — maybe there’s kind of a Freudian desire to be rid of that part of your life,” Ablow told host Miranda Devine. “You know, it’s interesting. I don’t know that Democrats would agree with this, or a lot of them, but God works in mysterious ways.”
“And if you are unsettled with the kind of life you’re leading, or your life story, if it’s not authentic to you — and I don’t know if he had that sense, I mean, after all, he’s evolved apparently into an artist quite different than what he was doing — then you may arrange unconsciously to rid yourself of that false persona,” he continued.
Biden’s first art sale with a professional art dealer did not take place until Dec. 11, 2020, his art gallerist testified in 2024, the Daily Caller reported. He previously was a lawyer, Burisma board member and engaged in foreign business dealings, career moves that were scrutinized in part based on the laptop he left in Delaware.
“And if someone said to me, ‘Well, is it out of the question, Keith, that he would literally dispense with that part of himself by leaving it behind again and again in a way that ultimately ends up with him pursuing a very different kind of life?’ I’d say, ‘Well, certainly it’s possible. It’s kind of textbook,’” Ablow added.
Moreover, Biden’s use of narcotic drugs and solicitation of prostitutes in multiple jurisdictions were revealed on the laptop he left in Delaware. The Daily Caller News Foundation obtained a full copy of the laptop in October 2020.
A cybersecurity expert told the DCNF that an April 2015 email on it from a Burisma executive was unquestionably authentic.
