The same Democrats who insist illegal immigrants are not voting in our elections — they are — are now claiming that they do not want to give these same uninvited intruders free healthcare.
The issue of healthcare for illegal immigrants is at the center of the government shutdown, aka Schumer’s Shutdown, with Republicans pointing out that Democrats have been exploiting loopholes, costing U.S. taxpayers billions of dollars — Democrats want subsidies for the Affordable Care Act, and while those here illegally are not eligible for ACA, Emergency Medicaid is available. Several blue states also use state taxpayer dollars for illegal immigrants to enroll in Medicaid.
All of which prompted Al Franken, the disgraced former Democratic senator from Minnesota, to weigh in on X: “Is JD Vance a liar or just woefully ignorant when claiming that Democrats want to give health benefits to undocumented immigrants?”

Of course, one could argue that Franken was “woefully ignorant” to enter the fray, given his track record.
On that note, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt shared a video clip of the 2020 Democratic debate, where every hand goes up when NBC News anchor Savannah Guthrie asked, “Raise your hand if your government plan would provide coverage for undocumented immigrants.”

Vance had shot holes through the misleading Democratic argument that illegals do not receive free healthcare.
“There are two Biden-era programs that explicitly gave the taxpayer health care money to illegal aliens that we turned off when President Trump took over in January,” the vice president said in the clip below.

“Program number one is there’s a lot of emergency health care at hospitals that are provided to illegal aliens that was funded by the federal government,” he explained. “We turned off that funding because, of course, we want American citizens to benefit from those hospital services. Not to be taxed, and then to have those hospital services go to illegal aliens.”
“The second of which is the Biden administration gave mass parole to millions upon millions of illegal aliens, and then they simultaneously made those parolees eligible for health care benefits funded by taxpayers,” Vance continued. “In the One Big Beautiful bill, President Trump and congressional Republicans turned off that money to health care funding for illegal aliens.
“The Democrats want to turn it back on.”
Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) also offered his take on the Democratic sleight of hand:
