Man arrested in pink toy Barbie jeep, driving drunk to get a Slurpee

A man turned a Barbie-themed joyride into an arrest that has the internet in stitches.

Kasper Lincoln earned himself a DUI in north-central Canada by borrowing his roommate’s daughter’s toy jeep and making his way down to the local corner store for a Slurpee. Images from the surprising arrest show Lincoln cruising down the road, at least once driving through a lane closed for construction, as well as getting pulled over by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

“So when I was driving by him, he stopped and said ‘hey, what’s up man? Can you pull over so I can talk to you?’ I was like ‘Yeah, sure, I can pull over,’” the man told The Citizen. “He pulled up right behind me and had his lights flashing. I was just smiling the whole time.”

Two breath tests confirmed that the man was over the legal limit to be driving, and police also claim that he had a suspended license. He was arrested, charged with prohibited driving and now faces a 90-day driving ban.

If they r claiming dui, then i can see legal challenges

Since when is a toy car a “vehicle” under the law?

If it is a vehicle, y is it in the toy isle?

Y aren’t registration fees paid on it?

Y r NTSB measures not applied to it?

I mean, technically a motor vehicle.

I think drunk & disorderly would be more appropriate, depending on jurisdiction.

It seems if it has a motor & is on the road, it needs a license, but the Barbie jeep is likely ineligible. Thus, not road worthy. The thing was he’d planned to use the sidewalk at a walking pace, but some construction blocked 1 stretch of sidewalk. Drunk & no license didn’t help.
