The Department of Justice (DOJ) released its interview with Ghislaine Maxwell on Friday.
Attorney General Pam Bondi directed Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche to meet with Maxwell in July to answer questions related to Jeffrey Epstein.
“In the interest of transparency, @TheJusticeDept is releasing the complete transcript and audio of my proffer of Ms. Maxwell,” Blanche wrote on X.
“Except for the names of victims, every word is included,” he continued. “Nothing removed. Nothing hidden.”
The interview was posted on Friday in segments on the DOJ’s website.
During the interview, Maxwell called Trump “a gentleman in all respects,” stating she “never saw the President in any type of massage setting.”
“I never witnessed the President in any inappropriate setting in any way,” she told Blanche. “The President was never inappropriate with anybody.”
Maxwell also did not believe former President Bill Clinton ever received a massage on Epstein’s plane.

At another point, Maxwell said she could not recall whether Trump wrote Epstein a birthday card in 2003, but noted she did not see one in the discovery materials she was shown during her New York prosecution. Trump sued the Wall Street Journal in July over a story it published alleging he wrote Epstein a “bawdy” letter for his birthday.
The interview release comes two days after Judge Richard Berman denied the DOJ’s request to unseal Epstein grand jury materials, which he called a “diversion.”
“The Government is the logical party to make comprehensive disclosure to the public of the Epstein Files,” Berman, a Clinton appointee, wrote on Wednesday.
The House Oversight Committee also confirmed on Friday that the DOJ began turning over Epstein-related documents.
“The Trump DOJ is moving at a pace far faster than anything ever produced by the Biden DOJ,” House Oversight Chairman James Comer wrote on X.
