‘Big Balls’ is back, baby!

He’s back, baby! Edward Coristine, the 19-year-old nicknamed “Big Balls” who was one of the original members of Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), has joined the Social Security Administration.

The agency announced on Thursday that Coristine has been hired in a temporary role as a special government employee — this is a temporary role that typically runs for 130 days or less within a 365-day period. This comes on the heels of reports that the teen wonder was no longer with DOGE.

“His work will be focused on improving the functionality of the Social Security website and advancing our mission of delivering more efficient service to the American people,” Social Security spokesperson Stephen McGraw said in a statement.

“Big Balls,” who once declared that there were “no checks and no accountability” in federal spending, gained notoriety when the media seized upon his youth and inexperience to discredit the cost-cutting efforts being made by DOGE.

The Social Security Administration did not respond to a question about whether Coristine was still reporting to DOGE, according to NBC News.

In a light-hearted response to his new gig, a “Big Balls” parody account shared the following post on X:

Social media users suggested in response to the post that Coristine was “not the hero we deserve but the hero that we need.”

Evidently, America loves “Big Balls” — here’s a quick sampling of other responses to the story, as seen on X:
