Several arrests of anti-ICE protesters were made in New York City on Saturday during the national “No Kings” demonstrations, footage captured by the Daily Caller shows.
An estimated 50,000 marched through New York City on Saturday, taking part in a nationwide protest against the Trump administration’s mass deportation of illegal migrants. One clip from the Daily Caller footage shows a large man in a green shirt getting his mask removed as officers walk him away from the crowd with his hands behind his back.
“Don’t do that!” the man shouts as New York Police Department officers could be seen taking off his ski mask. “Nah man, get off of me.”
“Yeah, take this snapshot, cause I promise you when I get my lawyer — ” the man said before being walked away by officers.

“You guys got mad that my bullhorn is louder than yours?” the protester getting arrested asked. “I’m invoking my right to legal counsel. I have nothing to say to you guys.”

As protesters could be seen closely following behind, one woman could be heard shouting at the officers to “kill” themselves.
“Fucking pigs! Kill yourselves,” the woman could be heard shouting.

With anticipation of the “No Kings” protest happening nationwide, Democratic New York City Mayor Eric Adams, who announced he was running for reelection for mayor as an independent candidate, had warned participants on Friday that “outside agitators” could affect the protest, adding that thousands of officers would be on duty.
More arrests caught on camera by the Daily Caller throughout the event show one man in a ski mask being pinned against a traffic barrier to have his hands zip tied behind his back as one protester could be heard yelling “fuck the police.”

It is unclear as of this writing how many arrests were made during the protest.
The New York Police Department did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.
