‘Who’s gonna do your manicure?’ Jessica Tarlov yells as Watters presses on deportations

Daily Caller News Foundation

Fox News co-host and Democrat strategist Jessica Tarlov yelled Wednesday at co-host Jesse Watters on “The Five,” asking him who’s going to do his “manicure” if thousands continue to be deported.

Protests and riots have broken out across the country since Friday over the Trump administration’s push to deport illegal migrants from the U.S. During the show, Tarlov said that the administration is “flying in opposition” of its claim to only target criminal illegal migrants, before co-host Brian Kilmeade jumped in.

“Brian said, ‘Well, this is what they were sent there to do, get the people out with criminal records.'[Exactly]  70% of people who have been taken into custody have not been convicted of anything. That is directly flying in opposition of what they said that they were going to do,” Tarlov said.

“113 have wound up with criminal records, 113 over the last two days,” Kilmeade said.

On Friday and Saturday, nearly 1,000 people descended on Los Angeles after U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) conducted raids throughout the city. Since Jan. 20, the Trump administration has deported 139,000 illegal immigrants, with ICE data showing that three in four illegal migrants arrested were criminal migrants.

“But thousands have been deported! People are in foreign gulags without criminal records,” Tarlov said.

“All right, well, Jessica, when you break into the country, you’re gonna get kicked out,” Watters jumped in.

According to ICE data released April 29, the criminal records of the illegal migrants arrested include “convictions or charges for 9,639 assaults, 6,398 DWIs or DUIs, and 1,479 weapon offenses.”

Watters and Tarlov continued to argue over whether illegal migrants have the right to stay in the country. Tarlov said the American public no longer supports the mass deportations.

“Who’s gonna do your manicure, Jesse?” Tarlov asked.

Watters pushed back, saying he doesn’t get manicures. Tarlov said she didn’t believe him after seeing his nails “every day.”

“I cut them very well. I mean, is that bad? You want me to come in here with fangs?” Watters asked.

Watters said that if Americans want immigration laws to change, they can talk to Congress.

Tensions between the Trump administration and California have risen due to the destruction in Los Angeles, with President Donald Trump deploying the National Guard and 700 Marines to the state.

California Democrats such as Reps. Nancy Pelosi and Maxine Waters, Gov. Gavin Newsom, and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass have attempted to downplay the destruction.

A curfew was enforced in downtown Los Angeles on Tuesday to try to control the riots.
