Trump warns of ‘very big force’ if protests disrupt June 14 Army parade

President Donald Trump isn’t playing around with protesters, issuing a warning to anyone thinking of interrupting the June 14 parade.

The event is meant to celebrate the Army’s 250th anniversary, and it also happens to fall on Trump’s birthday. On Tuesday, he warned that any disruption “will be met with very big force.”

Watch:

“We’re going to be celebrating big on Saturday,” Trump said. “And if there’s any protester that wants to come out, they will be met with very big force. And I haven’t even heard about a protest, but you know, [these are] people who hate our country, but they will be met with very heavy force.”

Trump may not have heard of any protest, but there is an effort underway to protest what many on the left see as a demonstration of power on par with historical dictators. The protest, titled “No Kings,” is looking to create protests in all 50 states to make “sure he remembers he is not a king on June 14th.”
