Whoopi complains there’s no way a Black man can be elected president

Whoopi Goldberg needs to surround herself with better “people” after declaring that she is being told that a black man cannot be elected today as president of the United States of America — Barack Obama notwithstanding.

The bizarre comment came as she was singing the praises of Maryland Gov. Wes Moore, whom Goldberg described as the “perfect candidate,” an assessment that had co-host Sara Haines gushing over the black Democrat.

“But people are saying, ‘You can’t elect a black man,’” Goldeberg claimed. “Why not?”

Goldberg’s colleagues did remind her that Obama was elected president — twice — prompting her to reply, “Well, I’m just – But I’m saying.”

The assessment came after she declared she was so unique as an independent that there was no name to describe her.

“There’s no name. Because there are some things that fit what I want and some things that don’t. And I am the crazy person who said, ‘Why don’t we have a Democratic president and a Republican vice president?’”

“I believe that the only way to get stuff done is to have both parties represented at the same time — and people keep telling me I’m crazy,” she continued.

As for electing a black man, the nation has already shown it’s so eager to cast off the left’s racist accusations that it will throw caution to the wind and put an unqualified man in the White House simply because of the color of his skin.

Social media users were certainly not buying what Whoopi was peddling, as seen on X:
