President Donald Trump has a new portrait posted on the White House website, replacing the original portrait that had been unveiled just days into his presidency.
A clip posted to the official White House X account shows the new artwork being hung in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, featuring a stoic-looking Trump in a blue suit and red tie, and his ever-present American flag lapel pin.

A link takes you to the White House website, where the portrait is being used as the official administration photo. Unlike other works featuring the president, this one does not depict him smiling or expressing much emotion at all. It is closer in tone to his infamous mugshot, indicating that he is ready for business and is done playing games in Washington.
The portrait comes amid the firing of Kim Sajet, the director of the National Portrait Gallery, for her “strong” support of DEI practices, which Trump has largely banished from government operations.
A notice of termination was published on the president’s Truth Social account on Friday.
“Upon the request and recommendation of many people, I am herby terminating the employment of Kim Sajet as Director of the National Portrait Gallery. She is a highly partisan person, and a strong supporter of DEI, which is totally inappropriate for her position. Her replacement will be named shortly. Thank you for your attention to this matter!” he wrote.
