Fox News host Jessica Tarlov did her best to spin an insane pro-illegal alien take by MSNBC regular Elie Mystal, but even she had to acknowledge that the hotheaded racist’s rant was “not great” when she was asked about it.

During a recent podcast appearance, the easily combustible legal commentator with the distinctive Q-Tip hairdo said that if he were to be murdered by an illegal alien, that he wouldn’t care if the killer was undocumented, remarks that went viral on social media and illustrated the derangement of the left when it comes to defending the foreign criminals who have been lionized by Democrats.

The unhinged diatribe came up on Tuesday’s edition of “The Five” when the show’s loopy leftist was confronted about her fellow Democrat by the co-hosts who took turns skewering Mystal, prompting Dana Perino to turn to her and ask, “Jessica, does it drive you crazy that Mystal is always on TV causing problems for Democrats?”

“Causing problems for me, that’s for sure,” Tarlov responded. “It seems really simple to commend the things that are going well, like tamping down on border crossings, and then you get agencies to say things that you think are not going as well. Because this is the issue that he is above water on, that people, he has a 55 percent approval rating on shutting down the border,” referring to President Trump.

“What you say also, I guess, you can’t be murdered because then you’d be dead and you can’t say it,” she continued. “But for the example that he was giving that he wouldn’t be mad if someone who was here undocumented murdered him, you say, ‘This is terrible, there’s a direct correlation between crossing the border snd me or somebody ending up dead,’ but that doesn’t mean that you should change how you feel about the undocumented population in general. I think that’s what he was trying to say, or what I hope that he was trying to say.”

“But it’s not great,” Tarlov concluded before going off on a tangent about strawberry prices and sparring with co-host Jesse Watters.

“Why do I care what their status was when they committed the crime, if you can prove they committed a crime?” Mystal asked in his widely-ridiculed rant.

“I say in the book, if I get shot, if I get murdered by an undocumented immigrant, please tell my children I did not care that they were undocumented,” he said.

Unfortunately for Tarlov and other outwardly sane Democrats, Mystal isn’t an outlier and is the perfect spokesperson for a party that has taken the defense of criminal illegal aliens to a new level with its championing of deported wife beating, human trafficking MS-13 thug Kilmar Armando Abrego as their new martyr, demanding that he and other criminals sent to an El Salvador prison be returned to the U.S. and put back on the streets.
