Musk hater leaves swastika-marked brick on Tesla in NYC Jewish community

Daily Caller News Foundation

An unidentified woman left a brick with a swastika on a Tesla Cybertruck she vandalized — in a predominantly Jewish area of Brooklyn.

The New York Police Department (NYPD) is searching for the vandal, who allegedly poured trash on the parked Cybtertruck, carved “Nazi” into the paint and left the swastika-laden brick on top on Monday, the department confirmed to the Daily Caller News Foundation. The incident is the fourth attack on Tesla vehicles New York City has seen in a one-month period amid a wave of national outrage against Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s influence over the Trump administration.

Monday’s vandalism occurred in a Jewish enclave of Brooklyn outside a yeshiva school, according to local media reports. The NYPD’s Hate Crime Task Force is investigating the case, the NYPD told the DCNF.

The last similar incident in New York City involved two unidentified men etching a swastika and the word “Nazis” on an unattended Cybertruck on March 27, as seen on footage the vehicle recorded through Tesla’s “Sentry Mode.”

The same day, someone slapped a “Musk” sticker with a swastika on the bumper of another Tesla in Brooklyn, the New York Daily News reported.

Lastly, two people in Manhattan spray-painted a swastika on someone’s Cybertruck on March 6, according to police.

The NYPD’s Hate Crime Task Force is reportedly investigating all four incidents that occurred over the one-month period.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) has formed its own task force centered around investigating what it calls “domestic terrorism” against Tesla vehicles and facilities, promising harsh penalties.

“The days of committing crimes without consequence have ended,” Attorney General Pam Bondi said in March. “Let this be a warning: if you join this wave of domestic terrorism against Tesla properties, the Department of Justice will put you behind bars.”
