Dumb and dumber: Joy Reid assures Don Lemon that Canada would win if US invades

Fired MSNBC host Joy Reid had some thoughts about a U.S. military invasion of Canada, the latest figment of the left’s imagination, amid tensions between the White House and our northern neighbor.

Reid joined fellow fired cable television fixture Don Lemon on the latest edition of the former CNN personality’s TikTok show, opining that the canucks would whip the Americans’ rear ends if President Donald J. Trump ordered an invasion, which he won’t.

The astounding level of hatred for her own country combined with geopolitical and historical ignorance was truly something to behold.

“You can’t make Canada the 51st state without going to war with them,” Reid proclaimed. “And let me explain how that worked out the last time we tried to go to war with Canada.”

“They burned the White House to the ground in 1814,” she gleefully shouted as Lemon snickered, going back more than two hundred years in referring to the War of 1812 when Canada was still under British control. “And won the war!”

“Canada beat us in the War of 1812, they probably like their chances against us,” she continued. “We’re not gonna beat them in a war because we have never been able to do that. You’d have to occupy a country that is equivalent to the size of the United States. In which the top two thirds of it is uninhabited frozen forest land that touches the Arctic.”

Then came the inevitable Hitler reference.

“You know how that worked out when the Nazis tried that with Russia which is the equivalent of Canada on that part of the world?” Reid asked. “We gonna lose! We don’t have enough troops to occupy, they are a county of 39 million people who have about as many guns per capita as we do.”

The “race lady” omitted one key point in that the vast majority of Canadians would side with the U.S. in liberating themselves from their tyrannical left wing government.

X users reacted to what could have been a remake of “Dumb and Dumber” with the two racist dimwits tossing off their “retarded” take on geopolitics and ignorance of history.

If some were thinking that Reid would just go away after her long overdue ouster from the troubled left-wing cable network, they were overly optimistic.
