‘Don’t you know that’s a load of sh*t?’ Billy Bush grills James Carville on whether he knew about Biden’s decline

Daily Caller News Foundation

Billy Bush interviewed Democratic strategist James Carville on Monday and tackled head-on the issue of former President Joe Biden’s cognitive health, asking him about the discrepancies between public perception and private realities.

Johns Hopkins School of Medicine Professor Dr. Marty Makary previously said that Biden appears to exhibit symptoms of dementia and cognitive decline. In an episode of Hot Mics with Billy Bush, Bush confronted political strategist James Carville with pointed questions about Biden’s cognitive health, suggesting an insider’s view on an issue that has sparked extensive public and media debate.

“How mad were you when you’re watching everybody say that he’s fine and Joe Biden behind closed doors. He’s cognitively, he’s brilliant in meetings, and sometimes he stumbles in public. Don’t you know that’s a load of shit? You knew it, right?” Bush asked Carville.

“I knew people, people that saw it, but I’m 80 myself, OK? You can’t beat this shit. It’s undefeated,” Carville said.

Bush responded.

“But everyone’s 80 is a little different,” Bush said, referring to President Donald Trump, who is currently 78.

“Obviously, he’s lost three or four steps,” Carville said about Biden.

An article from the Wall Street Journal published last December reported that White House aides shielded Biden from even his cabinet members as his health deteriorated.

A report from Special Counsel Robert K. Hur said that Biden, as a private citizen post-vice presidency, intentionally kept and shared classified materials, including documents and handwritten notes on military and foreign policy, especially about Afghanistan. Despite this, Biden maintained during a hearing that he always took the management of classified information seriously. The hearing transcript said that Biden sometimes had difficulty remembering specific dates and details, and he confessed to not knowing the documentation process for some of the sensitive documents he handled.
