Very little has been heard from members of former President Joe Biden’s administration, but it appears that Kamala Harris is now making moves.
Following her abysmal showing as Biden’s replacement in the 2024 presidential race, Harris has largely kept quiet. However, nearly one month after President Donald Trump’s inauguration, it was announced that Harris had signed up with a talent agency.
Creative Arts Agency released a statement on their partnership with Harris, claiming they will represent her “in all areas, focusing on speaking engagements and publishing.”
“CAA will work closely with Harris on her post-White House initiatives, creating strategic opportunities that expand her platform in support of the issues she has championed throughout her decades-long career in public service,” the company said.
Harris had signed with CAA before when she was a senator from California, and the same talent group also represents Biden. They released a statement in early February regarding the post-presidential move.
“President Biden is one of America’s most respected and influential voices in national and global affairs,” said CAA co-chair Richard Lovett. “His lifelong commitment to public service is one of unity, optimism, dignity, and possibility. We are profoundly honored to partner with him again.”
Biden had also been previously represented by the company between 2017 and 2020, engaging in his “American Promise” speaking tour while signed.
It is unclear if this signals the end of Harris’s political ambitions, or if she will run for another seat sometime in the future.
