ATF busted trying to circumvent DEI ban, Musk has idea for agency

Left-wing activists are dug into the federal bureaucracy like bloodsucking ticks on a dog and will do everything they can to dodge the DEI delousing ordered by President Donald J. Trump.

The nation’s new leader moved quickly to aggressively treat the cancer of the illegal and immoral discriminatory programs by ordering all federal DEI offices to be shut down and employees to be put on paid leave, the first step to ridding the government of the institutionalized racism and incompetence that was a feature of the now departed Biden regime.

Agencies were also ordered to send a “notice to employees informing them of the closure and asking employees if they know of any efforts to disguise these programs by using coded or imprecise language.” Efforts employed to save DEI commissars and burrow “woke” sleeper agents are apparently already underway with one alleged example being at the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).

“The ATF was just caught rebranding their Chief Diversity Officer to Chief Officer to circumvent President Trump’s order,” the popular End Wokeness X account posted on Wednesday, blowing the whistle on DEI deception. “Time to clean house. All of it.”

The shared post showed the job title of one high-ranking ATF bureaucrat had been changed from “Chief Diversity Officer” to “Senior Executive” in what would be a brazen attempt to violate the spirit of Trump’s executive order.

The seeming attempt to defy Trump caught the attention of X owner and DOGE boss Elon Musk who had a suggestion for the controversial agency. One that has been strongly criticized by GOP lawmakers who are calling for it to be abolished.

“Should the ATF exist? Why not just merge it with DEA?” Musk asked.

The DEI trickery will only provide more reasons for those who want to see it abolished due to its abusive practices. Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) has already introduced legislation in the 119th Congress to do exactly that.

If the reaction to the ATF’s deception is any indication, the agency could be on borrowed time.

In a Tuesday letter, the head of the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) sent a letter to heads and acting heads of government agencies directing them to place DEIA workers on leave by 5 p.m. Wednesday. The ATF’s getting busted shows that people are watching very closely.

“These programs divided Americans by race, wasted taxpayer dollars, and resulted in shameful discrimination,” the letter from OPM acting Director Charles Ezell read. “We are aware of efforts by some in government to disguise these programs by using coded or imprecise language. If you are aware of a change in any contract description or personnel position description since November 5, 2024, to obscure the connection between the contract and DEIA or similar ideologies, please report all facts and circumstances to DEIAtruth@opm.gov within 10 days.”

“There will be no adverse consequences for timely reporting this information. However, failure to report this information within 10 days may result in adverse consequences,” OPM stated.
