Omar outs Dems attending Trump inauguration, tells base that’s who ‘they should be mad at’

Rep. Ilhan Omar went full “Karen” on the Democrat lawmakers who attended the inauguration of President Donald Trump.

After months of maligning Trump and his supporters as dangers to democracy, even drawing comparisons to Adolf Hitler for shock value, some Democrats still chose to attend the president’s inaugural proceedings. This didn’t sit well with Omar, who effectively accused them of hypocrisy.

Look:

“People are more upset at performers/artists attending Trump’s inaugural events but not upset at all the politicians who told them he was a ‘threat to democracy’ going to these events are not serious. Performers at least know they are there to perform and get paid, but these politicians who ran their mouth for 4 yrs and are now willing to be there and clap for him, that’s who they should be mad at,” she wrote in an X post. “They lied to you and your criticism/anger should be rightfully directed at them. Also, no one should ask people who are performers/artists to be loyal to a party because that’s what dictatorships do. In a free country like ours, people should be able to support any party they want without having their livelihood compromised.”

In this post, Omar is calling out big names in the Democrat Party including Hillary and Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, John Fetterman and more, pointing out that the leftists upset by the performers at the inaugural celebrations were misdirecting their anger.

X users weren’t in a mood to be lectured:
