Imaginations runs wild as ‘X’ speculates on message Biden left for Trump

President Donald Trump took a brief pause from signing executive orders to search for the traditional letter left by the previous president.

On his first day back in the Oval Office, Trump was so focused on setting the tone for the next four years that he almost forgot about the letter from former President Joe Biden, usually left in the Resolute Desk for the incoming commander-in-chief. Fox News’s Peter Doocy asked Trump if he had received one, as the contentious presidential race that led to his win created the possibility that Biden may have opted to break tradition.

Despite floating the possibility of reading the letter “together” with the press, Trump ultimately decided to read it later before sharing the contents with reporters. This has created a lot of speculation on social media regarding what Biden may have had to say to his successor.
