AP pulls a stunner, celebrates a white man being sworn into Congress

Wonders may never cease as the Associated Press is actually celebrating a white man being sworn into Congress, however, there’s a catch.

This week, Tim aka Sarah McBride, a newly elected Democrat transvestite from Delaware will take the oath of office after setting off a controversy over men being allowed to use the ladies’ facilities at the Capitol.

In a fawning profile, the left-wing media organization gushed over the historic nature of McBride’s arrival in Washington, D.C.  as the “first openly transgender member of Congress,” a gift to the nation from voters in Joe Biden’s home state.

AP touts the triumphant nature of McBride’s becoming a federal lawmaker while criticizing those mean Republicans like Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) who spoke out about the creepiness of biological males being allowed to relieve themselves in the presence of real women, leading Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-LA) to ban men from invading the women’s restrooms.

According to AP, preserving the sanctity of women’s spaces is what now qualifies as “brutal” treatment, an exclamation point on the sad decline of what was once a widely respected news organization.

“There is so much joy and so much awe in having this opportunity, and I will not let anyone take that away from me,” the new congressman told AP. “I am simply there to do the job just like anyone else.”

“The reality is that I didn’t run to be a first. I didn’t run to make history with an election,” he said.

Former NCAA women’s swimming star Riley Gaines – a champion of women’s rights in sports – was among those who pointed out the rareness of “woke” AP bestowing praise and recognition upon a white man who was elected to Congress.

“Hahahaha I never thought I’d live to see the day when the Associated Press celebrates a white man being sworn into Congress,” she wrote on X.

Other reactions to AP’s portraying McBride as an avatar of the new civil rights movement.

The lengthy piece portrays McBride as some sort of pioneer on the level of Rosa Parks or Jackie Robinson in a screed that more appropriately belongs in the campus newspaper of a northeastern liberal arts college. But it is exactly why the establishment media has squandered generations of hard-earned credibility to become propagandists for the “woke” movement that specializes in glorifying racists and crazies and has completely alienated normal people.
