‘We’re so back!’ Diet Coke button will return to Trump’s White House on Inauguration Day

President-elect Donald Trump is not the only thing making a return to the White House in January.

Among the things Trump will be bringing back during his presidency is the famous Diet Coke button, according to the Daily Mail. When pressed, the button would summon a butler who would bring Trump his favorite fizzy beverage.

The button was removed after President Joe Biden moved into the White House. Additionally, furniture arrangements, portraits, and other decorative items will return to their positions from the first Trump administration with help from the White House staff.

“It’s easier because they’ve lived there before,” Kate Andersen Brower, author of The Residence, explained to the Daily Mail. “There aren’t any mysteries about what [the Trumps] would they like to have for breakfast, how they operate, what kind of shampoo they use. I mean, they know everything already.”

However, if Vice President Kamala Harris had been the one to win, the staff would also have been prepared for her family’s arrival as well.

“They would have had done their research on Kamala Harris and her family and their kind of lifestyle,” Brower revealed. “They would have already known kind of what to expect, especially since she was VP, there would be some understanding there. And they probably talked to staff at the Naval Observatory. There’s some relationship there between the White House residence staff and the Naval Observatory staff.”

X users celebrated the apparent return of normalcy, and specifically the Diet Coke button:
