INSIDER: Liz Cheney, meet Kash Patel

Sometimes life comes at you fast… fast, and hard.

In a wonderful helping of piping hot schadenfreude served up for the holiday by House Republicans, Liz Cheney now gets to find out what it’s like to be on the receiving end of a federal investigation.

The former Wyoming congresswoman staked her career – and quite possibly her freedom – on an evil vendetta to take out Donald J. Trump by spearheading the disgracefully un-American J6 committee and now it’s completely blown up in her face.

On Tuesday, the Committee on House Administration’s Subcommittee on Oversight released its interim report on January 6, 2021, and the politicization of the Cheney-Pelosi J6 committee. Then they called for a federal criminal investigation of the ex-congresswoman.

For all of Cheney’s scumbaggery, it was her scheming to create a completely fake narrative about Trump and January 6, 2021, by inducing a gullible woman to fabricate a sensational account that may ultimately do her in.

Cassidy Hutchinson’s story about Trump attacking a Secret Service agent to seize the wheel of “The Beast” and later flinging his lunch at the White House, spattering the walls with ketchup, was like crack cocaine to the media at a time when Democrats were looking to grab the attention of Americans with their professionally choreographed, nationally televised hearings.

But it was a lie, and witness tampering is a very serious crime and will be treated as such when the Justice Department and FBI are no longer acting solely in the interests of one political party and return to a more traditional mission of enforcing the laws of the land which will soon happen.

“Former Representative Liz Cheney colluded with ‘star witness’ Cassidy Hutchinson without Hutchinson’s attorney’s knowledge,” said the committee’s chair Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-GA) in a statement. “Former Representative Liz Cheney should be investigated for potential criminal witness tampering based on the new information about her communication.”

Morally debased and rotten to the core as she may be, Cheney is no dummy and she leeched onto Kamala Harris during the last month of the veep’s dumpster fire campaign, hoping to leverage her clout with neocons and Trump-hating “conservatives” to pull enough support from the GOP nominee to put her over the top in the battleground states.

As a part of the reward for her support, Harris teased a Cabinet position with the buzz being that it would be the Secretary of Defense position, one once held by her war criminal father Dick Cheney.

It failed miserably and while you can’t blame her for trying, Cheney is now left praying for a Christmas miracle in the form of a “preemptive” pardon from Joe Biden who has already granted clemency to a boatload of criminals and still has a month to go.

Biden could just pardon the entire rancid J6 congressional crew which would be all but officially admitting that they’re a pack of criminals who engaged in a conspiracy to defraud the United States. But he may not be inclined to do so because of Pelosi’s lead role in the coup that stole the nomination from him and gave it to Harris.

It could be that Joe’s not exactly in the mood to do any favors for the ex-Speaker and her J6 minions and that he’s already left them to slowly twist in the wind at a time when the media is fiercely lobbying for them to be pardoned. It could be an insight into his thinking and if he declines to do so, Pelosi and her attack dog could be in deep trouble.
