Putin-Trump summit could thwart Armageddon

2024 will be remembered as a pivotal year.

Through it all, several overriding issues are being determined. In some cases, control of Congress, the Senate, and the White House have already witnessed a verdict.

Ukraine and the disposition of NATO remains unsettled. Over the weekend, Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy came forth with a plan. He proposes that Russia keep Crimea and the Don Bas. In exchange, Ukraine will be allowed to join NATO. Sounds doable, at first glance. Except it won’t happen. Here’s why. These two regions, collectively the size of the state of Virginia, are composed of mostly Russian speakers. In the case of Crimea, residents held a referendum, voting one-sidedly to return to Russia. The Kremlin will consider Zelenskyy’s proposal an insult. Yet he hopes that enough Americans will fail to dig deeper in search of a real solution. Meanwhile, the cancer spreads.

Trump and Putin are Both “Realists”

The good news is returning President, Donald J. Trump and Russian President, Vladimir Putin show evidence of being able to work together. Trump has already called for the two regions to be returned to Russia. He has been “tepid” at best, to Ukraine joining NATO. Smart money says it won’t happen. Putin genuinely respects Trump. He has even expressed concern that the returning president’s life is in danger.

I recall former U.S. Ambassador, Cary Cavenaugh arrogantly smirking, “Trump had no Russian policy.”  To an ex-ambassador or academician, he probably didn’t and doesn’t. Trump knows that he does have a plan. It amounts to “Putin understands a deal and I know how to make one.”

For those who bothered to read, “The Art of the Deal,” the axiom that jumped out most profoundly is “knowing what the other guy wants without him knowing what you want in return.” Donald Trump considers this perhaps the greatest key to successful negotiation.

Trump knows what Putin wants. He thinks he knows what Putin will consider in return.  His quandary rests on how to best position the idea with the American people. To do it successfully, Trump must identify a target that poses a greater threat than Putin.

Arresting the Cancer Within

Russia is not the greatest nemesis on the planet. Neither is China. In unmasking the greatest threat known to mankind, consult history. This cancer can be described in one word: “MARXISM.”

100 million died in the last century at its hands. Vladimir Putin understands Marxism. He has seen it firsthand. More importantly, he can identify it. Amazingly, his assessment has not been treated kindly by the legacy media. Perhaps it’s because it’s hitting too close to home!

Florida Senator and incoming Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, also understands Marxism. In his memorable 2022 C-PAC address, he pointed out aspects of Marxism never previously identified.

One of the greatest challenges facing Americans is “wading through the sludge of corrupt, anti-Americanism to discover the truth.” Perhaps the most prolific example of the true fruits of Marxism rests on the beautiful Caribbean Island to the south of Florida.

Expunging Marxism from the Planet

To the surprise of many, Vladimir Putin isn’t an advocate of Marxism. You can largely thank the legacy media for this misnomer. If anything, Putin opposes it more than Trump does! Armed with this understanding, it’s time to put the whole gambit on the table. Here goes!

Trump invites Putin to a spring summit in Honolulu. The objective: “To formulate a new partnership.” Its title: “The Coalition for World Peace.” Sounds good. What is the scope of “CWP?” What are the specific objectives?

For Putin, it’s relatively uncomplicated. Russia wants Ukraine. All of Ukraine. Why? Because they consider it part of Russia and always have. Check your history. Google “Kievian Russ.” Russians see Ukraine as men from Massachusetts saw Mississippi as part of the United States in 1861. Mississippians didn’t agree. We know how it ended.

Allowing Ukraine’s return opens the entire board for overall betterment. Putin is both a realist and a pragmatist. He will know that serious concessions will be expected. Unexpected will be Trump’s insistence on Russia recognizing the Monroe Doctrine as international law in the Western Hemisphere, promising both political and military support for its enforcement. For those unfamiliar with the Monroe Doctrine, let’s return to 1823 when it was implemented.

“The Monroe Doctrine holds that any intervention in the political affairs of the Americas by foreign powers is a potentially hostile act against the United States.”

In essence, get your ass out of the Western Hemisphere China, or you will be dealing with both of us. To further ensure that Putin and his successors are permanent partners, Trump will promise recognition of Outer Manchuria as Russian territory.  This “Texas-sized” area has been disputed with China since 1862. It includes the important North Pacific port of Vladivostok.

Implications Domestic and Abroad

NATO members might not be warm to such an idea. American Marxists currently holding positions in government, academia, and media would be horrified! They would realize that their own “exit visas” were imminent, as they would become “Marxist subversives” overnight.

The proposal would be contingent on:

+- Russia jointly condemning Marxism and pledging support to “expunge” it from the planet.

+- Russia signing a non-aggression treaty with all NATO nations, including former Warsaw Pac nations.

+- The United States dropping all sanctions against Russia.

+- Russia would return South Ossetia and Abkhazia to the Republic of Georgia.

+- Russia would join the United States in condemning the CCP as “causers” of the COVID pandemic.

+- Russia would join the United States on future manned expeditions to both the moon and Mars.
