Kamala Harris isn’t going to just go away after she was resoundingly rejected by the American people, and is reportedly already mulling her political comeback.

The outgoing vice president slinked off to Hawaii where she’s been out of the public eye after her drubbing by President-elect Donald J. Trump who swept all seven of the battleground states on the way to a 312-226 electoral victory, also winning the popular vote as the majority of the country saw through Kamala’s phoniness.

But instead of accepting the people’s verdict, Harris could run for president again in 2028, according to Politico, which reported that she is also mulling a bid to become California’s governor, replacing Gavin Newsom in her home state.

The outlet reports that “the vice president has been instructing advisers and allies to keep her options open — whether for a possible 2028 presidential run or even to run for governor in her home state of California in two years. As Harris has repeated in phone calls, ‘I am staying in the fight.’”

Harris is hunkering down with family members over the holidays and “is expected to explore those and other possible paths forward,” Politico reported, citing five people “in the Harris inner circle,” none of whom were willing to go on record with their names, puffing her up by adding that she had “an extraordinary four months in which Harris went from President Joe Biden’s running mate to the top of the ticket, reenergizing Democrats before ultimately crashing on election night.”

“She doesn’t have to decide if she wants to run for something again in the next six months,” a former campaign aide is quoted. “The natural thing to do would be to set up some type of entity that would give her the opportunity to travel and give speeches and preserve her political relationships.”

However, this time Harris would have to survive a real primary instead of having the nomination handed to her on a silver platter by party bosses Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama, something that would be a serious challenge for the loopy word salad machine.

X users ridiculed the idea that Harris could emerge from the primary process in a contest that wasn’t rigged in her favor and mocked the notion that she would even consider another run after her electoral humiliation.

A potentially easier path to relevance would be in deep blue California which despite a slow shift back to red, will likely remain a one-party state for the considerable future.

Were Harris to choose a gubernatorial run, she could face an opponent with national name recognition.

Celebrity Caitlyn Jenner was optimistic about beating Harris like a drum if they both ran for governor of California in two years.

“If I ran, and it was ultimately against Harris, I would destroy her,” Jenner wrote in a post to X.

A well-known supporter of President-elect Donald J. Trump, the former Olympic gold medal decathlete formerly known as Bruce Jenner would be a formidable presence on a potential ballot against Harris, as a transgender person, Jenner would nullify her prime selling point of using identity politics as the basis for her campaign.

“There will be a desire to hear her voice, and there won’t be a vacuum for long,” Politico quoted a source close to Harris.
