There is a reason why journalism – as it is practiced by the “mainstream” media – is regarded with even more contempt than Congress by many Americans. It is because journalism has transitioned – overtly – into peddling deliberately one-sided misinformation, to borrow a term these “journalists” love to apply to anyone who dares to question their lies.
I experienced this personally at the hands of Rachel Maddow, who doesn’t even pretend to present the facts – from both sides – before she lies about one side. She recently selectively edited a clip from an interview I did with incoming Border Czar Tom Holman on Scott McKay’s Patriot Streetfighter program about our 2022 film, Death County And The River of Broken Dreams.
The movie documented the uptick in foreign soldiers streaming across the border in numbers that I hadn’t seen in my 18 plus years covering the border. It also highlights how Joe Biden and his border czar, Kamala Harris, helped create the largest child trafficking operation in world history and enabled the Mexican Cartels to make billions of dollars in additional unprecedented profits.
Maddow – a staunch supporter of the Biden-Harris regime and its open border policies – deliberately misrepresented what the movie Tom and I made was about, in order to misinform people about Tom as as well as myself.
For the purpose of undermining Tom as he assumes control of the border that has been left wide-open for the past four years.
Since we (and the film we made together) were ostensibly the subject of her “coverage,” you’d think she would have asked one or both of us to be guests on her show to discuss the matter. Or at the very least, attempted to contact and question one or both of us, in order to get our side of the story. That’s what journalists used to do. But that was a long time ago, when journalists were expected to cover the story.
As opposed to telling half the story – in order to put a spin on the story.
And that’s just what Maddow did.
Rather than speak with us or even give us the opportunity to rebut what she planned to say about us, she just went live with the story she wanted to tell. She called Patriot Streetfighter Scott McKay names – and didn’t allow him on her show to defend himself, either. If she had, she might have discovered that the person she accused of being an “anti-Semite” owes his life to a Jewish man and says he will forever be in his debt.
No attempt was made to ask us about the movie. She just told her viewers – all seven of them – what she thought they ought to think about it.
Not once over the course of the past going-on-three-years did she invite either Tom or myself on her show to warn America about the potential threat of foreign military infiltrating into America.
She never gave us a platform to try and stop the child-trafficking. If she were a journalist, she would have interviewed Tom, given the key role he is about to play. Had she been honest with her viewers, she would have told the whole truth about Tom – and the movie.
But because she does not like Tom – and even more so, President-elect Trump – she used her platform to malign and misrepresent rather than inform and leave it up to the viewers to decide, as journalists did once-upon-a-time.
Had she allowed the other side of the story to be aired, America would have had a chance to see for themselves how Tom stops and prays for illegal aliens who die in South Texas pastures due to Joe Biden’s policies. Tom has done the same for every illegal alien fatality that he has encountered in his 34 years of law enforcement. If she had interviewed Tom, she also would have discovered the scars he carries in his heart from the death of a five-year-old Mexican boy and his father.
But Rachel Maddow didn’t do that. Any of that. Had she done even some of the work a journalist is supposed to do – and told some of the other side of the story – we could perhaps give her the benefit of the doubt and accept that she inadvertently missed something. That it wasn’t a deliberate omission. But she omitted everything that would have told the other side of the story.
This tells us she intended to misinform her audience.
She has yet to acknowledge the problems created by the open border policies of the Biden-Harris regime, most especially the horrors attending the trafficking of children – something so appalling it breaks the heart of every decent person.
But Maddow isn’t such a person. She is certainly not a journalist – as evidenced by the deliberate omissions and distortions of her “coverage.”
She is evil.
That’s a strong word. But accuracy is necessary in journalism.
Maddow had an opportunity to help America and save children – but she chose to divide Americans and turn her platform into a political weapon. One she continues to wield with the recklessness of a child handed a machine gun to pay with.
And – journalism aside – what kind of woman doesn’t want to save children?
The answer is as obvious as it is heartbreaking:
An evil one.
