Did Dems’ electoral spanking knock the pronouns right out of AOC? X users notice something missing

Social media is abuzz with speculation over whether the Democrats’ electoral spanking last week has prompted the party’s ideological thought leader to make a big change.

It has come to the attention of X users that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is no longer displaying pronouns in her profile, a possible sign that even the progressive diva now understands that identity politics is a loser.

While it’s unclear when AOC made the decision to remove the pronouns, which are shown in previous screenshots, their omission now seems to be a quiet acknowledgment of the growing unpopularity of “woke” ideology after the backlash helped to return Donald J. Trump to the White House.

One of Trump’s most successful ads of the campaign highlighted doomed Democrat nominee Kamala Harris’ past support for taxpayer-funded sex changes for prison inmates that ran during the Major League Baseball playoffs and football games. The ads also featured the memorable and spot-on slogan “Kamala is for they/them, President Trump is for you.”

Influential Democrats including James Carville have come right out and blamed the “identity sh*t” and “jackassery” of D.C. Democrats for their drubbing last Tuesday and AOC may be looking to repackage herself before her party conducts a pre-2026 purge that could see moderates reassert themselves.

X users reacted when it was pointed out that something was missing from AOC’s profile.

“@AOC needs to explain herself after shoving gender lies and insane ideology down people’s throats for years, why has she removed her pronouns?” Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) asked.

It could be that the “Squad” leader is just politically astute enough to sense which way the wind’s now blowing. Support for Trump has increased in her deep blue Brooklyn-Queens district and in an effort to understand why voters rejected Kamala, she solicited input from constituents.

The truth may be that the drama queen is all hype and was never the rebel that she presents herself as but rather just another phony opportunist who’s been acting for her entire congressional career.
