Liz Cheney speaks out on Trump win but NOBODY is buying what she's selling

Liz Cheney, who endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 election, issued a statement on X following President-elect Donald Trump’s decisive victory.

In her brief message, she called for acceptance of the election outcome and for Americans to act as “guardrails of democracy” as fearmongering over a second Trump presidency continues in full force.

“Our nation’s democratic system functioned last night and we have a new President-elect. All Americans are bound, whether we like the outcome or not, to accept the results of our elections. We now have a special responsibility, as citizens of the greatest nation on earth, to do everything we can to support and defend our Constitution, preserve the rule of law, and ensure that our institutions hold over these coming four years,” she wrote. “Citizens across this country, our courts, members of the press and those serving in our federal, state and local governments must now be the guardrails of democracy.”

While the message of unity likely sounded good on paper, it did not resonate with Americans.
