Kamala scores what’s likely the most apropos endorsement in the history of endorsements

In an endorsement that seems to say more about the candidate than the source, “Violent J” from the rap duo “Insane Clown Posse” (ICP) has thrown his support behind Vice President Kamala Harris.

The artist, born Joseph Frank Bruce, recently went on “The Daily Show” where he voiced his support for Harris. His reasoning? “Because she’s a Democrat and I love my mom.”

In the video, it was also made clear that despite being interested in certain political topics such as abortion, climate change, and increasing tax rates for the rich, few of the “Juggalos and Jugalettes,” as fans of the group are called, actually intend to vote.

If the group’s name sounds familiar, it’s because they were in the news in 2014 after an attempt to sue the Justice Department and FBI failed. The lawsuit was prompted by fans of the musicians being classified as “a loosely organized hybrid gang” in 2014.

It would seem their beef with the government didn’t last too long, though, if they are willing to throw their support behind Harris.

X users couldn’t help but comment on the strange pairing of a rapping clown and a former prosecutor:
