George Conway tells off sister of slain soldier at center of latest anti-Trump hit piece

George Conway, ex-husband of Kellyanne Conway, made the interesting decision to go after the sister of a slain Army soldier.

Mayra Guillen is the sister of Vanessa Guillen, who was tragically murdered by a fellow soldier. Her sister’s burial has become the topic of conversation recently, as it is featured in a hit piece from The Atlantic aimed at former President Donald Trump. Mayra responded to the piece, saying that she didn’t appreciate how her sister’s death was being exploited for political gain and defending her impression of Trump at the time the tragedy occurred.

“Wow. I don’t appreciate how you are exploiting my sister’s death for politics- hurtful & disrespectful to the important changes she made for service members. President Donald Trump did nothing but show respect to my family & Vanessa. In fact, I voted for President Trump today,” she wrote on X.

Conway jumped into the fray, defending the piece from the sister of the victim.

“No one is exploiting your sister’s death here. This is isn’t about her. It’s about Trump’s sociopathic behavior. He displays it publicly and privately, and his contempt for anyone else’s lives—including those of men and women in uniform who made the ultimate sacrifice—is apparent to anyone who chooses, unlike you, to open their eyes,” he said.

Mayra shot back with a zinger, noting that Conway boasts about being an Atlantic contributor in his X bio.

Conway was dragged for his comments:
