Unhinged Bob Woodward calls for Biden to get Nobel Peace Prize for Ukraine

So-called “journalist” Bob Woodward believes President Joe Biden deserves a Nobel Peace Prize for his handling of the disastrous Ukraine-Russia war.

Appearing on CNN this Thursday, he said Biden deserves praise for the “very sensible things in the interest of this country” that he’s allegedly done during the war in Ukraine, such as “not sending U.S. ground troops” overseas.

“Someday he may get the Nobel Peace Prize for that, because very, very important, so we don’t have another Vietnam,” Woodward added. “Biden’s old enough to remember Vietnam. He’s someone who, going back to the time he was vice president, would fight Obama and say, no, let’s not send 30,000 more troops to Afghanistan.”

“There is sometimes a feeling in the presidency that troops are a bandage. Somebody like Biden who has seen it, it goes astray and you can still protect the national security mission of the country by not sending the U.S. troops,” he continued.

His claim prompted quite a bit of mockery and ridicule for various reasons, including the obvious fact that the Ukraine-Russia war likely wouldn’t have even erupted had former President Donald Trump still been in office versus weak-kneed Biden.

Critics were also annoyed by Woodward’s unwillingness to acknowledge all the wrong things that Biden has done as president.

What’s weird is that Woodward’s portrayal of Biden seems to contrast some findings about the president contained in his latest book, “War.”

“Woodward writes [in the book] that Biden’s national security team at one point believed there was a real threat, a 50% chance, that Putin would use nuclear weapons in Ukraine,” according to CNN.

Yet despite this, the president has chosen to keep endlessly escalating the war instead of seeking a peace agreement with Russia, as noted by centrist commentator and critic Saager Enjeti:

As previously reported, Woodward’s book also contains the revelation that Biden, who previously served as vice president under former President Barack Obama, disagreed with his boss’ handling of Russia after it took Crimea in 2014.

“They f–ked up in 2014,” the current president allegedly told a close friend this past December, according to Woodward and as reported by the Associated Press. “Barack never took Putin seriously.”

“[They] never should have let Putin just walk in there,” he continued, adding that America “did nothing” in the face of Putin’s aggression.

The implication here is that Obama’s weakness on the foreign stage a decade ago played a role in Putin’s 2022 decision to invade Ukraine.

The book further reveals that Biden regrets choosing Attorney General Merrick Garland for the job because Garland later appointed a special counsel to investigate his scandal-plagued son, Hunter.

“Should never have picked Garland,” the president told an associate, according to Woodward.

The implication here is that the president thinks his son, who was eventually convicted on gun and tax evasion charges, should have been above the law.
