David Sacks warns Kamala’s in trouble, has entered the ‘doom loop’

Democratic nominee Kamala Harris is suddenly doing interviews after a long stretch of avoiding any unscripted event and tech advisor David Sacks not only explained why the campaign is abandoning its “basement strategy,” but detailed how that begins a negative spiral for the candidate.

A brand new NBC poll shows former President Donald Trump has erased a 5-point Harris lead since last month’s debate and if Sacks is correct, things are only going to get worse for the vice president.

The All In podcast cohost was responding to other polling to point out where Harris finds herself.

“If you look at pretty much now all the main pollsters… they’re now showing that Trump is winning the electoral college right now,” he noted. “He is up in almost every swing state, including, I think, Michigan, which I think is pretty surprising.”

“If you’re wondering why is Harris all of a sudden doing interviews, it’s because their internals started showing that she was in trouble, so they decided to het her out more,” Sacks added.

“It’s what I predicted a couple of months ago. It’s the doom loop,” he explained. “What I said two months ago is that if Harris gets behind, she’s going to have to abandon this sort of basement strategy of not doing interviews. She has to start doing interviews — the problem is she is not good at interviews, and if she does more interviews, she’s going to fall further behind in the polls and it could cause a doom loop. So, that’s where we appear to be right now.”

Given the circumstances, social media users are not all that surprised… here’s a sampling of responses to the story, as seen on X
