‘Insane’ video shows how Hurricane Milton SHREDDED the roof of Tropicana Field stadium

It’s easy to forget the sheer amount of power a natural disaster can harness until you see a video like this.

WFTS Meteorologist Jason Adams shared a video on X showing the shredded canvas roof of the Tampa Bay Rays ballpark, Tropicana Field. The St. Petersburg-based arena was battered by Hurricane Milton, which made landfall as a Category 3 storm.

Adams also reports that there were no injuries resulting from the destruction and that the arena had been used as a staging area for storm recovery.

Dave Moore posted his own video, showing a different angle of the stadium as he hunkered down to ride out the storm.
