Dem governor NOT happy when Texas installs razor wire on its border — with New Mexico

The way Texas has chosen to act to keep illegal aliens out of their state is not approved by New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham.

The Texas National Guard has installed razor wire along the shared border between Texas and New Mexico. This comes after Gov. Greg Abbott posted on X that his state is ready to fight back against the massive wave of immigration that has gone largely unchecked by the Biden-Harris administration.

“Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have allowed more illegal immigrants to cross our southern border than ever before. Texas is fighting back,” he wrote. “We are TRIPLING our razor wire border barriers to deny illegal entry into our state and our country.”

Grisham released a statement expressing her displeasure with the move.

“Gov. Abbott seems to be pushing to make Texas its own country without regard for his neighbors or the fact that Texas is already part of a great nation—the United States,” she said. “If he doesn’t think that New Mexico is important to the overall well-being of Texas, then he must be forgetting about the Permian Basin and the oil industry that straddles our two states. I don’t see him laying concertina wire there.”

While Grisham may not be happy about the way Abbott is protecting his state from smugglers and other illegal immigrants, X has got his back:
