‘Well what do we have here…’ Harris tweet thanking Diddy comes back to bite

Vice President Kamala Harris has a habit of not deleting any tweets, which can sometimes lead to optic nightmares like this one.

A tweet from April 10, 2020, is coming back to haunt the Democratic presidential nominee amid the arrest of hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs. In the message, she thanked him for hosting a town hall on “the state of black America and the coronavirus” which featured massive names in both music and politics such as Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Big Sean, Rev. Al Sharpton, and Meek Mill.

“Thank you, [Diddy], for hosting this town hall last night. There’s a lot at stake for our communities right now and it’s critical we bring to the forefront how coronavirus is perpetuating racial inequality and health disparities,” she gushed, linking to an article on the event.

Combs was arrested this week and charged with racketeering conspiracy; sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion; and transportation to engage in prostitution. BizPac Review previously reported on the heinous details, which allegedly include drug-induced “Freaks Offs,” physical, emotional, sexual, and verbal abuse, and hiring male prostitutes.

Needless to say, X users had a field day with this:
