The world is a scary place, and most of us think that we would be safe in our own homes, surrounded by pets and loved ones. But one frightening video proves that sometimes, danger can present itself no matter where in the world you are.
Sabrina Rivera and Marcus Holmberg appeared to be getting ready to enjoy their dinner when they, and their dogs, were suddenly and unexpectedly put in harm’s way.

“I saw the Mustang come right at us,” Rivera recalled. “I thought we were all going to die, to be honest.”
Miraculously, nobody in the home was killed.
“They did a CT scan on my head. They did see a fracture, a light one, so it’s just sore. Other than that, we are OK. This was an act of God. Someone was watching over us,” Holmberg said.
The driver of the car, 18-year-old Valentin Espinoza, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, criminal damage, and endangerment.
X users reacted to the chilling footage:

It’s illegal for 18 year olds to drink. It’s illegal to drink and drive. Throw the book at this delinquent

I can’t believe the dogs are ok! That was my first concern. I actually had tears! Thank you God for keeping everyone safe

Drunk driving is not a mistake. Its a choice you make and sometimes that choice can cost someone their life. I have zero sympathy for the driver and only wish the law would be stricter and keep these people in prison for the rest of their lives with zero exception

Amazing they survived that. They better sue that driver to oblivion.

I can’t explain what I would have done to that driver at that moment.
