Biden spews why he’s not allowed to mingle among crowds anymore: ‘They say it’s too dangerous’

Following President Joe Biden’s nearly unintelligible speech in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he addressed a gaggle of reporters and revealed some interesting information.

After being asked how it felt to be back on the campaign trail, Biden gave an enthusiastic “feels good!” Then, he offered some additional details in an off-the-cuff moment.

Watch:

“I’m not able to go out in the crowds anymore. The Secret Service doesn’t let me,” the president admitted.

“Why not?” asked the reporter.

“They say it’s too dangerous,” Biden replied.

X users quickly offered their take on this candid conversation:

Biden had just visited union workers to stump for Vice President Kamala Harris, who replaced him as the Democratic presidential candidate when it became clear Biden didn’t have what was necessary to beat Trump. During his speech, he yelled out union member names, garbled the phrase “greatest manufacturing city, county in the world, state in the world, city in the world,” and claimed Harris has the “moral compass of a saint.”
