Biden’s whereabouts has people asking: ‘Who the hell is the president now?’

President Joe Biden was spotted Wednesday lounging on a Delaware beach in what was his 10th or so day of vacation from the White House.

The fact that he’s been out of the White House for so many days has an increasing number of critics concerned about who’s leading the nation.

What’s known is that as of September of 2023, he’d spent 40 percent of his presidency (382 days, to be exact) on vacation, as reported by The Heritage Foundation.

His latest vacation started after he spoke at the Democrat National Convention.

“Biden left the White House Aug. 19 to head to the Democratic National Convention, where he gave a rousing speech on the first night of the four-day fest anointing Vice President Kamala Harris as the party’s nominee,” according to the New York Post.

“He opted against staying in Chicago for the other three days of the major party gathering, instead jetting off to Santa Ynez, Calif., where he stayed at the $37 million estate of Joe Kiani, CEO of medical technology company Masimo,” as reported by the Post.

On Sunday, the president left his billionaire donor friend’s home and flew to Rehoboth Beach, where he’s expected to remain until Friday if not up all the way through Sunday.

However, the president is scheduled to perform some limited work on Monday, when he’s set to speak at a Pennsylvania rally for presidential candidate Kamala Harris.

But why is the president working so little? There’s speculation that he’s doing so in part because he’s angry with all of his Democrat allies for turning on him after his disastrous debate performance in July.

Recall that after the debate with former President Donald Trump, the Democrat Party’s top leaders all began clamoring for Biden to drop out of the presidential race and let Harris take his stead.

At first, the president resisted, but the pressure eventually became too much for him.

The White House has for its part defended the president’s incessant vacationing.

“The president is on vacation, but you can never unplug from a job like that, nor does he try to,” National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby said Monday. “He’s very much in command.”

Is he really, though? The White House may say so, but the public has doubts.

Some in the public sector also don’t appreciate having to personally work so hard while the president dithers.

“I haven’t been able to take a vacation since 2016,” one critic tweeted. “Things have gotten more expensive and impossible ever since. Yet this dude is on vacation every week. The American dream has died so he can sit by the beach while the rest of us tread water desperately just to not be homeless.”
