Ben Stiller sparks backlash with Kamala comments: ‘Washed out actors endorsing unlikable propped up coup players’

Actor Ben Stiller kicked the hornet’s nest when he responded to a question regarding Vice President Kamala Harris.

In a video posted by video journalist Nicholas A. Ballasay, Stiller was asked what he likes about Harris’s platform. His answer was pretty much what one would expect.

“Just very excited about moving forward and all the energy and excitement that’s around this movement right now,” Stiller responded. “That’s why I’m here because it’s time for change and it seems like it’s happening.”

“Do you think she’ll be able to sustain the momentum post-convention?” the interviewer asked.

“For sure,” the actor answered.

“Do you think the race is gonna be close?” the man behind the camera inquired.

“It’s gonna be close, but everyone’s motivated to work and make it happen. And she and [Governor] Tim Walz are just incredible candidates,” Stiller said before ending the brief exchange.

This comes after Stiller was blasted online for saying “Every white Jewish guy wishes he was black” during a call urging voters to support Harris.

“And she’s also a historic candidate. It’s gonna be the first woman president, and that’s incredibly exciting. And, you know, she’s Indian, she’s black, she’s everything. You can be more than one thing. It’s incredible. You know, I’m Jewish and Irish. I wish I was black. Every white Jewish guy wishes he was black.”

X users were quick to point out that Harris has had the capacity to enact “change” for the last three years:
