‘State sponsored discrimination’: Taxpayer-funded org promises big bucks to non-American home buyers

Fox Business’s Stuart Varney was gobsmacked to report on an Oregon group that is offering $30,000 to first-time homebuyers, as long as they’re not American citizens.

The organization, Hacienda Community Development Corp., has reportedly shared an ad explaining how they will help first-time homebuyers in the state of Oregon by giving them $30,000 to realize their dreams. The conditions are listed on the ad, and they’ve got critics up in arms.

“Only for people who are not American citizens. For example (ITIN holders, DACA recipients, refugees, asylees, green card holders, amongst others),” it reads. Applicants must also “have pre-approval for a mortgage loan.”

Varney shared this shocking information with Lauren Simonetti, who expressed her disgust.

“This is state-sponsored discrimination, Stuart,” she said. “It’s crazy. That’s their goal, they want to open up housing and the ‘American Dream’ to non-US citizens.”

“That’s why we have an open border,” Varney responded. “Because eventually these folks will vote, and vote Democrat because that’s the people who let them in. That’s what this is about.”

“Part of me wants to say ‘crazy things happen in Oregon,’ but I think this will go far beyond Oregon. There is a critical shortage of houses across the United States, particularly in Oregon,” Simonetti added. “And then they’re giving $30k to non-taxpayers.”

“Yeah, which will raise the price of houses-” Varney stated.

“For everyone else,” Simonetti finished his sentence.

“Pathetic,” Varney said, shaking his head.
